NURS 4027 - Nursing Concepts II - Clinical and Simulation Lab Credits: 1
Description: Students will explore concepts of physiological adaptation and management of care in individuals across the lifespan. Principles of EBP, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, QSEN competencies, reduction of risk potential, infection control measures, disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, social determinants of health, therapeutic communication, interprofessionalism, teaching and learning, equity, and advocacy will continue to be explored. Clinical judgment skills will continue to be developed in the clinical and simulation lab setting. Prerequisites: Junior Year BSN Core Courses Second: NURS 3407 , NURS 3417 , NURS 3437 , NURS 3507 , NURS 3607 , NURS 3617 , NURS 3427 , NURS 3707 , AHS 3568 . Corequisite: NURS 4007 , NURS 4017 , NURS 4107 , NURS 4207 , NURS 4217 , NURS 3807 , AHS 3900 .
