NURS 3025 - Professional Nursing I Credits: 3
Description: This is the first of a series of four courses that focus on professional attributes, core rules, and the context in which nurses practice. Concepts covered in this introductory course include spirituality, patient education, self-management, communication, safety, healthcare law, professional identity, and clinical judgement. The clinical portion of Professional Nursing I will allow students to explore the course concepts on a nursing unit while providing basic care patients. Prerequisites: NURS 2515 ; NURS 2525 : NURS 2905 . Co-requisites: NURS 3115 ; NURS 3355 .
