NURS 2525 - Nursing Skills & Assessment

Description: This course is designed as preparatory for the nursing clinical curriculum. This course emphasizes the dimensions of collecting data relevant to health status. It provides opportunities for learning to use the tools and skills of data assessment in the nursing skills lab. Content includes concepts involving assessment, caring interventions and technical skills. This course explores the gender, physical and cultural aspects of physical assessment. Prerequisite: Acceptance into BSN Pre-licensure Program. Corequisites: NURS 2515 ; NURS 2905 .
