READ 3010 - Phonics

Description: This course is designed to prepare future educators to meet Ohio’s 12-Hour Reading and Literacy Core Standards. This course covers phonics and a systematic approach to its instruction, assessment, and intervention for teaching reading and writing to all young children. Topics include phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency with research-based approaches aligned with the Science of Reading. Approved for distance education.
