NURS 4455 - Population Health Concepts IV Credits: 5
Description: This course involves concepts associated with an individual’s physical health and illness that require nursing care, including oxygenation, perfusion, tissue integrity, cellular regulation, acid-base balance, thermoregulation, immunity, intracranial regulation, and fluid and electrolyte balance. Emphasis is placed on managing care for patients with complex and multi-system health issues. Clinical practice experiences compliment that theories presented in the course. Prerequisites: NURS 4025 ; NURS 4115 ; NURS 4355 . Co-requisites: NURS 4035 ; NURS 4135 .
