NURS 4135 - Pharmacology for Nursing IV Credits: 2
Description: This course provides the BSN Pre-licensure student with an advanced ideation to pharmacological concepts in the areas of oxygenation, perfusion, tissue integrity, cellular regulation, acid-base, thermoregulation, immunity, intracranial regulation, and fluid and electrolytes. The nurse’s role in the safe administration of medications is formulated using nursing assessment, nursing implications, and patient education in patient populations with complex healthcare needs. Prerequisites: NURS 4025 ; NURS 4115 ; NURS 4355 . Co-requisites: NURS 4035 ; NURS 4455 .
