EIEC 2210 - Cultural and Linguistic Diversity in Early Childhood Education

Description: Fall, Spring. Focus on theories, working in education settings with children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to support educational involvement and achievement. Includes field experience opportunities to observe and assist in inclusive early community based agencies or early childhood classrooms, preschool-grade 5. Taken with EIEC 2140 , 2200 and 2220. Prerequisites: C or better in EDTL 2010 and EIEC 2500 , and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
