EDTL 3260 - Literacy Assessment in the Early Childhood Education Classroom
Credits: 3
Description: Fall. This course is an investigation of the role of classroom assessment in instructional decision-making and student learning. It provides an in-depth study of various formal and informal literacy assessment tools that are appropriate to use in early childhood classrooms. Must be taken as part of ECE Field Block II. Transportation required. Prerequisite: Letter grades of C or better in all Field Block I courses (HDFS 3200 , HDFS 4200 , EDIS 4290, EDTL 3100 , and EDTL 3110 ).
