EDTL 3100 - Literacy for Young Learners

Description: Fall, Spring. This course examines literacy development from pre-kindergarten through the primary grades. From theoretical perspectives to developmentally appropriate materials, instructional approaches and strategies for teaching all young learners are explored. Must be taken as part of Field Block I. Transportation required. Prerequisite: admission to early childhood education program. Extra fee.
