Environmental Studies, Minor

This minor emphasizes the multi and interdisciplinary nature of environmental issues and the roles that the social sciences and humanities play in understanding and solving environmental problems. Required and elective classes span multiple disciplines including political science, history, economics, communication, law, geography, biology, sociology and the environment.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Apply critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and interdisciplinary thinking to address environmental problems
2. Develop effective oral and written communication skills to articulate issues in environmental studies
