Paleontology, Minor

This minor is designed to provide students with a broad overview of paleontology.  It is intended to be used in conjunction with any major that would be complemented by an intensive examination of the history of life on Earth.  Geology BS students are offered a specialization in paleobiology which includes additional requirements.

• Obtain a broad understanding of Earth’s physical and biological systems and changes in Earth and life through time. 
• Analyze and evaluate data and published research in paleontology
