Can humans live in harmony with the earth? How do we balance the need for jobs and the conservation of resources? Can a modern lifestyle be sustainable? Can technology fix our environmental problems? Should all endangered species be saved? Should nature have a voice in our decisions? In the environmental sustainability minor, students tackle critical sustainability issues with the tools of different disciplines, refining and integrating multiple ways of thinking, analyzing, and problem-solving. The minor includes courses in biology, economics, environmental studies, history, philosophy, political science, and several other disciplines.
