The World Music minor is intended for students who are interested in the academic study and performance of a broad range of musical traditions from local and global communities. Performative experiences reinforce scholarship engagement as students pair work in the classroom with participation in the department’s small ensembles, including the Afro-Caribbean ensemble and the variable-topic World Music ensemble.
