The specialization in Sport Administration addresses the planning, organizational, leadership, and evaluative aspects of management within the sport enterprises by holding the institution of sport to a high level of inquiry and serious scientific scrutiny. Students work with their advisors to complete a series of courses in the sport administration program and in a variety of other disciplines related to their academic interests and goals, and this includes: business administration, marketing, mass communication, higher education administration, interpersonal communication, and psychosocial foundations of sport.
