Spanish for Professionals and Educators, Certificate

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Graduate Programs

This Graduate Certificate is a productive option for students in complementary programs seeking to add Spanish coursework to their major field of studies. In addition, the Certificate will allow working professionals to advance their content knowledge and language skills. Coursework is based on “content” in the broad field of Spanish studies, including the study of linguistics, cultural studies and literature from Spain and Latin America. Coursework in these fields improves skills that are highly valued for educators: general knowledge of the Spanish-speaking world, critical thinking, textual analysis, and advanced writing.
