This certificate program helps educators in formal and informal settings to develop and assess play settings, play-based learning activities, and the professional practice of play providers. Courses are presented in a modular format to provide core knowledge and skills, as well as content tailored to specific settings and age groups. Students who successfully complete the certificate are eligible to apply for the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Teaching.
