The Documentary minor focuses on production, theory, and study of radio, television, and electronic media documentaries using standard tools of telecommunications production and analysis. Student complete 21 credit hours in 7 courses, including introductory survey courses on documentary traditions; documentary proposal research and writing, electives in electronic media production or analysis of programming; and the opportunity for the production of an electronic media documentary (or segment), or an analysis of documentary programs and issues. An adviser will assist with course planning.
