Child Development, Minor

The minor in child development is designed to offer students a broad understanding of children and families within contemporary society. The minor provides a systems-based approach to the study of child development. Students will be prepared for careers relating to children and families in an array of settings.

Note:


Required credits for the minor may vary from 15 to 21 credits based on the student’s declared major.

* Prerequisite HDFS 1050, PSYC 3100 , or PSYC 3030  or consent of instructor
** Prerequisite HDFS 2210 
*** Prerequisite HDFS 2220 or HDFS 2210
