Management and Supervision Certificate Program

This one-year certificate program provides students with the general management skills and knowledge necessary to become employable in a variety of positions in business and industry. This certificate program is ideal for students who are interested in beginning a business career, updating skills, or learning new management techniques. It is arranged so that classes can be taken part-time in the evening, and credits received in this certificate program can be applied to the associate of applied business degree.

General Requirements


Students are responsible for adhering to all college and university requirements and policies as stated in the BGSU Undergraduate Catalog. Prerequisites shown below are for reference only.

Basic Courses


(9 Credits)

Choose from Social and Behavioral Sciences (S or SI), Natural Sciences (N), Humanities and Arts (H or HI), Cultural Diversity (C). Choose courses from the BG Perspective Curriculum  found in the BGSU Undergraduate Catalog.

Note:


Upon successful completion of all the courses with a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher AND formal admission to Bowling Green State University Firelands, the student will be awarded a one-year technical certificate. All coursework in the program may apply toward a future associate degree in a related area. If you are interested in continuing on to an associate degree and/or a bachelor degree program, please consult with your advisor.
