Japanese, Minor

The Japanese Minor is open to students in any major and allows them to gain both language and cultural skills relevant to their future professional endeavors. Students in this program may have opportunities to study abroad in Japan, summer or yearlong, as well as to participate in an internship program at a Japanese company.

The requirements for minoring in Japanese are the completion of 21-22 hours of coursework with 14-16 credit hours of Japanese language core courses and 6 hours of electives, including one course on literature or film.
