ENG 3001 - Critical Theory and Cultural Studies

Description: This course builds on the skills developed in ENG 2001 - Ways of Reading  by engaging directly with literary theory and cultural criticism, with particular attention to primary works in the major theoretical paradigms that have had significant impact on the study of literature and culture. Students will understand and apply critical concepts and terminology and produce theoretically-informed scholarship.

Prerequisite(s): ENG 2001  or ENG 2010
