HNRS 2010 - Introduction to Critical Thinking

Description: Fall, Spring. The first of two courses required for all first-year Honors students. Students will gain practice in a systematic method of reflective critical thinking through the evaluation and construction of arguments drawn from readings, media, culture, and everyday life. Emphasis will be placed on the refining of reading, writing, thinking, speaking and listening skills, as well as the transfer of those skills to other arenas of students’ academic, professional, and personal lives.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Honors College or permission of Honors College Dean.
