ENG 3230 - Modern Fiction

Description: Fall. Novelistic fiction from English, European (in translation), and American writers of the Modern period such as Flaubert, Joyce, Conrad, Woolf, Kafka, Mann, Faulkner. Focus on development of forms of fiction, styles, and narrative theories, and on cultural, literary, and political contexts of individual works. Prerequisites: any ENG literature course and WRIT 1120. Approved for distance education.
