GDSN 4010 - Graphic Design History and Integrative Models

Description: Lecture based history course exploring the relationship of graphic design in cultural and societal impacts through traditional works of art, architecture, music, film, and literature into contemporary examples of social activism and integrative models of practice. Course work examines the influence of graphic design/designer to activist movements in culture, communication, collaboration and commerce. Credit cannot be earned for both GDSN 4010 and DSGN 5010. Approved for distance education.
