CRJU 6400 - Criminal Justice Policy Analysis

This course introduces students to the formation and implementation of criminal justice policy in the United States by exploring the role of discretion in criminal justice decision making, policy formation and analysis, the prospects for change and reform, and the politicization of crime and justice. Prerequisite: MSCJ or MSCRJU major or consent of instructor.
