CRJU 6200 - Seminar in Contemporary Corrections Credits: 3
This course involves a detailed analysis of issues and problems facing current correctional systems. Particular emphasis is on the use of incarceration and incapacitation as forms of punishment and social control in modern society. Historical, theoretical, and practical issues and problems are considered. Prerequisites: MSCJ or MSCRJU major or consent of instructor. Offered main campus and web-based.
