TAS 3000 - Introduction to Technical and Applied Studies

Description: This course introduces students to career pathways available through the BTAS. Through examination of program requirements, career options, and regional workforce demands, students will develop a graduation plan that can lead to specific employment. Using self-assessment tools for job readiness, leadership, and other areas, students will become aware of the credentialing and “soft skill” work required for their chosen fields. To be taken the first semester in the program, available to majors or with consent of the instructor. Approved for distance education.
