NURS 3028 - Transition to Practice Credits: 3
Description: In this course, the student will identify personal and professional values, ethics, integrity, accountability, and philosophy of nursing in the transition to the role of a baccalaureate prepared nurse. The professional role of the nurse in collaboration with various health disciplines, interprofessional communication, and informatics literacy will be examined. The interrelationship among theory, practice and research will be explored. Prerequisite: Admitted to the RN to BSN program. Approved for distance education.
