MUED 2400 - Introduction to Music Education Credits: 3
Description: Fall, Spring. Introduction to the music education profession. The curriculum is designed to stimulate student thinking regarding the importance of music in human life and its various roles in the American education system. Includes observation of a variety of teaching situations at all levels. Prerequisite: sophomore standing in music; overall GPA of 2.5, GPA of 2.5 or above in courses with a MUED prefix, and satisfactory progress in all Music Core courses taken prior to MUED 2400. Lec: 45 hours. Required of all sophomores.
