HNRS 2020 - Critical Thinking about Great Ideas

Description: Fall, Spring. Interdisciplinary seminar on some of the influential ideas of human culture. The second of two courses required of all Honors students in their first year. Emphasis on reading of primary texts and the application of critical thinking to the evaluation of these ideas. In addition, the integration and synthesis of relationships between ideas will be stressed and organized around different ontological assumptions. Prerequisite: HNRS 2010 and admission to BGSU’s Honors College.
