Description: Spring. Introduction to writers from formerly colonized areas of the world, including Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, among others. Emphasis on themes and issues related to imperialism, postcolonial identity, nationalism, and decolonization, with attention to intersections of race, gender, and sexuality. Prerequisite: ENG 3020 or ENG 2020.
