Description: Spring. Macroeconomic side of international economics. Open economy macroeconomics, exchange rates and the balance of payments, fiscal and monetary policy, fixed versus floating exchange rates, budget deficits and international coordination of macroeconomic policies. Prerequisites: ECON 3030 (or ECON 3110 ) and ECON 3510 or consent of instructor.
