Description: Spring. Role of gender in the world economy, varieties of feminism, feminization of poverty, the relationship between household and labor market roles, the integration of women into the working world, causes of and responses to the gender wage gap, causes and alternative reactions to sex discrimination in labor markets. Prerequisite: ECON 2020 or consent of instructor.
