BIOL 4240 - Forensic DNA Analysis Credits: 3
Description: This course provides students with an overview of modern DNA typing in a forensic setting and a comprehensive description of the DNA analysis techniques used in a typical forensic laboratory. This course is primarily lecture based, but students will also complete hands-on practical exercises. Two 90-minute lectures per week.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 4230 or FSCI 4230 or BIOL 3500 . Credit cannot be earned for both BIOL 4240 and FSCI 4240 .
