ARTH 4150 - Critical Issues in Ancient Art Credits: 3
Description: This seminar will focus on a specified thematic consideration of arts and cultures in Ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt, or the Near East. Particular topics may include arts of various media and materials, and/or those created within selected social and cultural traditions. Thematic considerations may include issues of power, gender, or cross-cultural interaction, or a particular media, such as ceramics or precious metals. Repeatable once when topics vary. Extra Fee.
Prerequisite(s): one ARTH 3100-level course or consent of instructor.
