PSYC 4310 - Developmental Psychobiology Credits: 3
Description: This course explores how a single cell can develop into a functioning brain, the most complex machine on the planet. Through a combination of lecture and discussion of original research articles, we will examine the foundational mechanisms of neurodevelopment. The course will also include an introduction to brain maturation during adolescence, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Prerequisite: PSYC 1010 and PSYC 3300 or consent of instructor.
