PSYC 3600 - Psychology of Language Credits: 3
Description: Fall, Spring. The course introduces the wide range of abilities involved in knowing and using language, and considers spoken and signed languages (like ASL) and animal communication. Topics include development, comprehension and production in both normal and disrupted cases, and breakdown. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor or one of the following: PSYC 1010 , CDIS 2240 , CDIS 2250 , ENG 2900 or ENG 3800.
