PSYC 3320 - Neuroscience of Emotions and Motivations Credits: 4
Description: Biological causes of motivated behaviors such as sleep, hunger, thirst, fear, aggression, and sexual behavior; how motivated behaviors and related emotional states are organized in brain, as elucidated by electrical and chemical stimulation and ablation of living brain. Three lecture hours, two laboratory hours. This course can be applied toward satisfying the laboratory requirement of the psychology major. Prerequisites: PSYC 2700 and PSYC 2900 , or consent of instructor. PSYC 3300 strongly recommended but not required.
