Description: Survey of major monuments in Western Art (Europe and North America) from the Renaissance to the present. Introduction to artistic practices, period styles, cultural values and the critical art-historical issues associated with the production and reception of art over time. May be taken before ARTH 1450. Required for BA Art History majors.
