MUCT 5320 - Proseminar in World Music

Proseminar in World Music is a semester-long entry into a specific contemporary issue, body of research literature, or methodology within the field of ethnomusicology. Topics vary, but will broadly address music’s relationship to themes like politics, public sector approaches, healing, specific research methodologies, social justice, or similar concerns. Open to all graduate music majors and non-music majors. Repeatable up to 6 credits. Credit cannot be earned for both MUCT 4320 and MUCT 5320. Approved for distance learning.
