EDIS 6700 - Classroom and Behavior Management for Students with ASD

This course provides an in-depth analysis of the structure, organization, and behavior management of a classroom to promote success for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). In addition, the behavioral cycle of a student with ASD and how to identify, analyze, and develop plans through the use of Functional Behavioral Assessment, Behavior Intervention Plans, and an intervention/evidence-based approach working with students across age and severity levels of Autism are explored. Prerequisite: EDIS 6440. Approved for distance education.
