Introduction to advanced database structures and large datasets. Efficient data structures and related algorithms for spatial, streaming, multi-dimensional and semi-structured datasets. Employs concepts from databases, algorithms, computer graphics and computational geometry. Prerequisite: CS 5620 or permission of instructor.
