This course helps to develop students’ abilities to translate their research ideas into competitive funding proposals. Successful grant writing requires students to judge critical gaps in current explanatory models, advance a valid course of action, and to develop the research plan into an effective and successful narrative. Prerequisites: Admission to Biology graduate program. Not repeatable.
