ACCT 6230 - Financial Accounting and Analysis

This is the second course in financial accounting. It reinforces topics from the previous course and examines more advanced accounting topics than those included in the first financial accounting course. Topics include investments, contingent liabilities, long term debt, leases, pensions, the equity section, earnings per share, income taxes and the statement of cash flows. Each section is independent of previous topics. Prerequisite: MBA 6000. Approved for distance education .
