ACCT 6580 - IT Security

The course covers a broad range of technical security threats and security management issues. Topics include current risks and threats to an organization’s network and data. Students will be able to create security plans and architectures tailored to business goals, students will be able to manage security on a daily basis, and students will be familiar with security technologies and concepts. Prerequisite: Admission into the Master of Accountancy program or consent of the Master of Accountancy coordinator. Approved for distance education.
