SOC 6480 - Crime in the Life Course Credits: 3
On demand. This seminar examines theory, methods, and empirical research related to the study of crime in the life course. We will discuss criminological research that uses a life course perspective to examine the development of deviance from childhood and adolescence, through the transition to adulthood, and through middle adulthood. The course also examines the life course consequences of criminal justice system involvement for individuals and their families.
