ACCT 6600 - Business Intelligence/Data Analytics

The focus of the course is to understand how to analyze and present business measures using current analysis and visualization software. The course also examines new non-relational database formats as well as emergent Big Data technologies. The course also applies critical thinking skills to the data collection, analysis, and presentation activities so that students ask good questions about data and results of analysis. Prerequisite: ACCT 6550 or Consent of Master of Accountancy coordinator.
