Description: Introduces the key concepts and principles of Geophysics and its application in industry, geoscience, and other areas. Introduces students to geophysical observations and their interpretation, their causes, and use in studying the Earth’s structure and physical properties. Prerequisites: MATH 1310, or consent of instructor. Credit cannot be earned for both GEOL 4320 and GEOL 5320.
