VCT 4840 - Augmented and Virtual Reality Technologies Credits: 3
Description: This course gives students an opportunity to learn about Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR and AR) as platforms for user experience design. VR/AR refers to computer systems that combine virtual content with the physical environment, allowing users to interact with these worlds. In this class, students will learn how to manage, ideate, build, and design augmented and virtual reality projects. Students will become familiar with AR and VR examples and technologies including hardware and software. They will learn AR and VR technologies and create prototype projects. Prerequisites: None.
