SM 3300 - Leadership in the Sport Industry
Credits: 3
Description: An examination of contemporary theories of leadership as they apply to sport organizations and settings. The course will assess the sociopolitical and socioenvironmental factors that may affect leadership effectiveness in the sport realm. The class will focus on the impact of leadership on organizations and their members and discusses key ingredients of successful management and visionary leadership. Prerequisite: C or better in SM 2010 and a 2.50 cumulative GPA.
